6th Ayah from Surah Al 'Ankabut

وَمَن جَٰهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَٰهِدُ لِنَفۡسِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ٦
Wa Man Jāhada Fa'innamā Yujāhidu Linafsihi  ۚ  'Inna Al-Laha Laghanīyun `Ani Al-`Ālamīna

Sahih International

And whoever strives only strives for [the benefit of] himself. Indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.

Abdul Haleem

Those who exert themselves do so for their own benefit––God does not need His creatures––

And whosoever strives, he strives only for himself. Verily, Allah is free of all wants from the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists).

Whoever strives, strives for his own benefit. Surely Allah is independent of all the worlds.

And whosoever striveth, striveth only for himself, for lo! Allah is altogether Independent of (His) creatures.
