وَقِفُوهُمۡۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسۡـُٔولُونَ ٢٤

Wa Qifūhum ۖ 'Innahum Mas'ūlūna

Sahih International

And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned."

and halt them for questioning:

"But stop them, verily they are to be questioned.

and stop them (for a while,) for they are to be asked some questions.”

And stop them, for they must be questioned.
