140th Ayah from Surah Al A'raf

قَالَ أَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبۡغِيكُمۡ إِلَٰهٗا وَهُوَ فَضَّلَكُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ١٤٠
Qāla 'Aghayra Al-Lahi 'Abghīkum 'Ilahāan Wa Huwa Fađđalakum `Alá Al-`Ālamīna

Sahih International

He said, "Is it other than Allah I should desire for you as a god while He has preferred you over the worlds?"

Abdul Haleem

Why should I seek any god other than God for you, when He has favoured you over all other people?’

Mohsin Khan/Hilali

He said: "Shall I seek for you an Ilahan (a God) other than Allah, while He has given you superiority over the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns of your time)."

Taqi Usmani

He said, “Shall I seek any one other than Allah as God for you, while He has given you excellence over the (people of all the) worlds.”

Pickthall

He said: Shall I seek for you a god other than Allah when He hath favoured you above (all) creatures?

He said: "Shall I seek for you a god other than the (true) Allah, when it is Allah Who hath endowed you with gifts above the nations?"
